What's New With This Release

Avaya is pleased to announce that Message Networking release 3.1 is now generally available in selected countries, delivering a new wave of cost saving and productivity value to address demanding enterprise class messaging and mobility requirements. 

This release is highlighted by numerous security improvements (e.g. Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting (AAA) server support for external administrator authentication, Role-Based Access Control, and administration traceability improvements), enhancements to facilitate migration (e.g. support for variable length mailboxes), and currency updates for the Operating System and hardware.  These enhancements make Message Networking 3.1 easier to implement into challenging IT environments and is more powerful and flexible than ever.

Migration services are in place to provide the best upgrade and migration options for existing Avaya messaging customers.
