Avaya Integrated Management applications can help your enterprise more effectively manage converged network infrastructures. This comprehensive set of applications is designed to simplify system administration, provisioning and network management, and fault and performance management operations. As a result, Avaya Integrated Management helps you improve network uptime, increase staff productivity and reduce operating costs.

What's New With This Release

Beginning with Avaya Communication Manager 4.0 and Avaya Integrated Management 4.0 and continuing  with release 5.0, customers are entitled to Integrated Management applications as part of their Communication Manager right to use license. Specifically:
 

Communication Manager 5.0 Standard Edition includes:

  • Administration Tools - Avaya Site Administration, Voice Announcement Manager ( unlimited license for a single site)
  • VoIP Monitoring Manager
  • Converged Network Analyzer

Communication Manager 5.0 Enterprise Edition includes:

  • Administration Tools - Avaya Site Administration, Voice Announcement Manager (unlimited license for a single site )
  • VoIP Monitoring Manager
  • Converged Network Analyzer
  • Enterprise Network Management - Network Management Console and the network-wide provisioning tools (Software Update Manager, Provisioning and Installation Manager, Network Configuration manager)
  • Adaptive Path Control - for those implementation with more than 1000 licensed stations

The System Management application Fault and Performance Manager and MultiSite Administration will only be sold al la carte.

All Integrated Management applications will still be available separately.

In addition, Avaya Integrated Management 5.0 offers the following new capabilities:

  • Support for Communication Manager 5.0
  • Support for Avaya Communication Manager -SIP Enablement Services (SES)
  • Support for S8300C
  • Support for the G450 Gateway
  • Support for the Samsung Ubigate IBGT Router
  • Application licensing for server-based applications
  • All server applications now support on VMware
  • Support for Windows Vista®
  • Support for Red hat Linux 5.0 with AMD processors and 64 bit x86 version of RHEL
  • Support for AAA/LDAP authentication
  • Support for the following new set types:
    • 9610 IP
    • 9620 IP
    • 9630 IP
    • 9640 IP
    • 9650 IP
    • 4620 SIP
    • Avaya Agent Deskphone 16CC

Note: There is no native support on Avaya Communication Manger for the Avaya Agent Deskphone 16CC. It must be administered as a 4620SIPCC.

  • Support for the following routers with the IG550 Integrated Gateway
    • J2320
    • J2350
    • J4350
    • J6350

Note:

Starting with AIM 5.0 VoIP Monitoring Manager and Network Management Console must be installed on separate Windows / VMware servers.
