The Avaya Event Processor is a software solution that enables an enterprise to detect key events in their business in real time. When integrated with Avaya Communications Process Manager, it helps organizations quickly react to critical events by bringing internal and external stakeholders together with an orchestrated response that leverages the multi-media communications infrastructure.
This integration enables the enterprise to be more competitive through the deployment of sophisticated "sense and respond" applications that drive down latency or delays as well as reduce operational cost. In addition, customer service can be enhanced and incremental revenue opportunities can be captured.
What's New With This ReleaseThis first release of Avaya Event Processor provides real-time intelligence that enables enterprises to gain increased visibility into their business by detecting and responding to critical events as they happen.
Prior versions of the product were marketed and sold as the iSpheres Event Server by iSPheres Corporation which was acquired by Avaya in 2006.
