BT and Avaya provide communications product and service solutions to customers, particularly those operating contact centres and implementing IPT solutions. By utilising the products, services and expertise of both companies, proposals have been developed that meet customers’ communication requirements. This can include complete design through to delivery of complex Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions. Focused project management helps ensure stress-free installation and integration of the chosen solution allowing customers to continue focusing on their businesses.
 
BT has been working with Avaya since April 2000, and since that time BT has become one of Avaya’s primary channel to market in the UK. BT is strategically aligned with Avaya, being a key AlliancePartner in the Global AlliancePartner Program.
 
The BT Avaya service offering allows customers access to Solutions Consultants, Integration Consultants, a portfolio of Disaster Recovery services, and over 150 Avaya accredited engineers all working together so businesses can get the most from their chosen communication solution.
 
In March 2007, BT and Avaya launched Avaya contact centre as a hosted IP offer called BT Avaya OnNet, with BT as the hosting and network service provider.  Rather than buy premises equipment as a capital purchase, end-user customers will now be able to buy a service from BT, on a per agent per month basis.
